What is the future of Blockchain technologies?

Most people have been aware of blockchain technologies in crypto currencies.  But the future of this tech is much broader than crypto.

Blockchain is already being implemented in many industries, including: healthcare, automotive, identity, government, supply chain, law enforcement, campaign finance, music, gaming, real estate and insurance.  What we are on the verge of is answering in the near future is:  Where does blockchain fit in with all of the emerging technologies such as Artificial Reality, Augmented Reality, IoT, Smart Devices, Self-driving cars, space-travel and autonomous devices?

On example of a future use-case for blockchain is the immutability of code in a self driving car.  The last thing our roads need is an autonomous car that was hijacked by a hacker -putting lives at risk.  Ensuring the code can not be changed in this, and other life and death scenarios, is just something that can not be managed by a traditional database.

For us, the future of blockchain in the immediate future involves several projects.  The main one is developing curriculum for Middle and Junior High School students to understand blockchain.  We start the curriculum by answering the basic question: what is a database?  As the course continues, we include learning the programming language Solidity -with an emphasis on Smart Contract development.   One great tool we have been using for this is CrytpoZombies!  Another project we are working on is developing our own blockchain -with an emphasis on Android mobile and Hyperledger Iroha.

We would all like to think that the future world is one of accountability, security, privacy, and fairness.  Blockchain tech helps to curate these qualities of humanity in a world full of scandal, corruption, theft, and foul play.
